PROGRAM AND SERVICE ADMINISTRATION

Capacity Building Workshops
Our workshops can be scheduled at your organization and exclusively for your staff.  Contact us for these arrangements.

COMMUNITY OF LEARNERS - Community of Learners is an approach to evaluation that emphasizes collecting useful data and applying it in "real time" to improve a program's quality and effectiveness.  The focus is on what works and why and, most importantly, on how to use findings to continuously inform decision making, program improvement, organizational efficiency and strategic direction. At the heart of our Community of Learners approach, the creators of the program are the creators of the evaluation.  This approach builds organizational capacity around evaluation while also building and improving programs. Its benefits include: increased quality in data collected, increased utility of the data; and ultimately, improved decision making and the determination of strategic direction.  Discover how a Community of Learners works, and how your organization can benefit from this approach.  Conducted by the TCC Group.

CLINICAL CASE CONFERENCING FOR CASE MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS* - Case Managers are dedicated to helping their clients succeed but are challenged by the many clinical needs of their client population.  This important training will allow participants to increase their clinical capacities, enhance clinical supervision, and allow participants to share best practices and engage in skills development.  Each session will address a specific topic (depression, substance abuse, domestic violence, etc.) allowing for the identification of key issues/clinical obstacles to goal achievement.  Case Managers will be able to use their assessments, reassessments and service/treatment plans to better work with client’s goals and objectives.  Supervisors will enhance their clinical skills and learn to support team members in their work.  This training allows for a dynamic learning experience and supports case management teams and supervisors in improving overall program compliance.

This training is provided in 3 sessions and participants must participate in all 3 to receive a certificate of completion and fully benefit from the training objectives. Facilitator: Spence Halperin, LMSW

COACHING FOR HUMAN SERVICE PROVIDERS - The purpose of this training is to teach professional staff how to use coaching techniques that will deepen client learning and forward their action. Participants will learn effective coaching techniques by observation and role play. The training agenda will include specific techniques for mental health and social service providers that will help in their day to day work with clients. Trainer:  Kevin Stafford
